Sitting in her comfortable chair, dreaming all day,
A burst of motivation was about to change her way,
She may feel old in body but not in her mind,
Needing a new direction, it would be easy to find.
Flipping through the phone book, page after page,
She found a pastime that didn’t ask your age,
Starting with a bungy jump, it almost made her heart stop,
Her next frivolous adventure, she abseiled down a rock.
Daredevil stunts like exploring in different ways,
Of wriggling underground and into spectacular caves,
At first her aching bones nearly let her down,
But now she’s the fittest granny in her home town.
So if you see someone on a Harley motorbike,
It could be a with-it lady, doing wheelies in the night.
